Welcome to tens of kilometres of cross-country skiing trails in and around Norefjell
Norefjell Turforening (Norefjell Trekking Association)
Norefjell Turforening was founded and is run by cabin owners and landowners to provide high-quality cross-country skiing trails and hiking experiences in the Norefjell area. The Association runs parts of the Nedre Djupsjøløype, Midtre Djupsjøløype, Øvre Djupsjøløype and Høgevardeløypa trails, as well as the trails alongside Lake Krøderen.
Trails in Høgevarde
Over 50 km of fantastic cross-country skiing trails are maintained in the Høgevarde cabin area, allowing you to enjoy skiing on freshly prepared trails and head out to the mountain plateaus. Trails are laid around all of the cabin areas, with smaller routes added when necessary. This means that there are plenty of attractive round trips for all those who fancy a short ski locally.
Trails in Modum
Modum offers tens of kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, both in the village and in the hills, lit and unlit, and prepared by skidoo or snow groomer.
The trails are prepared by sports clubs, road associations and the municipal authority’s park service.
