Art & culture

The area around Norefjell is known for its art and culture. This includes Lauvlia and Hagan, the homes of the renowned Norwegian artists Theodor Kittelsen and Christian Skredsvig. You can visit Nastadborgen, which is a re-creation of castle and palace culture from the 12th to the 18th century. Blaafarveværket, Villa Fridheim and the Krøderen Line celebrated their anniversaries in 2022 with lots of exciting summer activities.

Hiking tips

What about a beautiful hike in the fresh mountain air? Visit the popular Madonna Statue or the Høgevarde peak, which has the most extensive view of Eastern Norway, apart from the summit of Gaustatoppen. We will also offer you tips for other great hikes that will suit the whole family.
