Welcome to active adventures – for the whole family. The Norefjell region offers a wide range of activities. Enjoy an adrenaline-filled adventure down the river with Sigdal Aktiv; zipline down the largest ski jump in the world in Vikersund or compete with the family at Sigdal Motorsenter.

Art & culture
The area around Norefjell is known for its art and culture. This includes Lauvlia and Hagan, the homes of the renowned Norwegian artists Theodor Kittelsen and Christian Skredsvig. You can visit Nastadborgen, which is a re-creation of castle and palace culture from the 12th to the 18th century. Blaafarveværket, Villa Fridheim and the Krøderen Line celebrated their anniversaries in 2022 with lots of exciting summer activities.

Meet mountain farm animals at Norefjell Ski & Spa or at Barnas Bondegård (children’s farm) at Blaafarveværket. Swing through the treetops or enjoy a thrilling mine trip deep inside the mountain.

Cycling
Did you know that the Norefjell region is a paradise for cyclists? How about a peaceful bike trip with the family? Or an intense day mountain biking? Work is currently underway in Høgevarde Mountain Park to construct one of Europe’s largest networks of bike trails.
Hiking tips
What about a beautiful hike in the fresh mountain air? Visit the popular Madonna Statue or the Høgevarde peak, which has the most extensive view of Eastern Norway, apart from the summit of Gaustatoppen. We will also offer you tips for other great hikes that will suit the whole family.
