Noresund and Lake Krøderen lie at the foot of Norefjell. This area offers you the best of the lakes and mountains, not to mention a wide selection of restaurants and accommodation options.

In summer, you can join an adventurous trip with M/S "Kryllingen II" on the beautiful lake Krøderen. Or how about an experience with a veteran train on the Krøderbanen? You can also experience Villa Fridheim, one of Norway's largest and best-preserved Swiss-style houses.

In winter, you can visit Norefjell Ski Centre, which consists of 14 lifts and 30 slopes suitable for all levels.

Krøderbanen - Krøder Railway Line

Villa Fridheim

Visit one of Norway’s largest and best-preserved Swiss-style villas, built as a country home in 1892 by timber merchant Svend Haug. Closed for the season, see you next year.

The Krøderen Kro country inn boasts an idyllic location on the banks of Lake Krøderen, near Norefjell. Our cafeteria seats 130 guests and we can set tables for small groups.
